Madeline Crane aka: Mad Maddie, is a Meansville, Ga. native. She started racing Bandoleros in the Thursday Night Thunder Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway when she was 10 years old, and after a slow start that season, she finished strong with two consecutive wins.
She quickly moved into Legend cars, and by the time she was 14 she already had 59 top-five finishes in just 82 starts, and finished the year as the Pro Division Winter Flurry Champion.
When Maddie was 15 she again moved up and started racing Crate Late Models at Dixie Speedway. She ran very strong all year and finished her first season second in points. When the season ended she traveled to Virginia to attend the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine, where she gained valuable experience, not just on the track, but off as well. Maddie returned to Dixie and after another great year, finished in second place in points.
January 2015, Maddie raced at Watermelon Capital Speedway in the Speedfest Super Late Model 200, where she was racing against several top NASCAR young guns. Maddie started 27th and ended the day with an impressive 15th place finish in her SLM asphalt debut.
In 2016, Maddie earned a spot at Rev Racing where she completed her first full season on Asphalt with 12 top-10s and two top-5s driving in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Program. Returning for a second season with Rev Racing, Maddie will again compete in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
